FAQ’s.

HOW DO I ORDER ARTWORK?

Once you have chosen a painting or print, please select ‘Add To Basket’ and you will find clear instructions to follow. Payment is made using various secure payment methods, including both Klarna and Clearpay if you wish to spread the cost of payment.

HOW IS MY ARTWORK DELIVERED?

Packaging and delivery costs are included in the cost of original artwork for all UK addresses. All items are insured during transit. Shipping costs for prints are detailed on my Prints pages and are calculated at checkout - please make sure you select ‘Prints’ when paying.

For orders outside the UK, please contact me BEFORE placing the order to ensure you are happy with the shipping estimate.

An e-mail with a tracking number will be sent to you once artwork has been dispatched, this will confirm shipping and keep you updated about receipt of your artwork.

WILL MY ARTWORK BE FRAMED?

The majority of my original paintings are sold framed unless stated otherwise [for example those on paper]. Framing is carried out by a Fine Art Trade Guild Master Framer and are of the highest quality, in solid wood, chosen to both complement the artwork and to sit comfortably in contemporary interiors.

Where original work and prints are sold unframed, I am happy to provide advice or even arrange a framing service. Pricing for framing can be discussed at the time of ordering.

HOW IS MY ORDER SHIPPED?

Original artwork is carefully and securely wrapped in bubble wrap and jiffy bags to protect the frame and artwork itself. A hardboard backing sheet will be added if required. Watercolours will be sandwiched between a stiffened board to protect it in transit and wrapped in art quality cellophane. I have a long history of shipping artwork and have a solid record of delivering undamaged work to its new home.

WHAT IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE WHEN IT ARRIVES?

I really hope you will be happy with your new artwork when you receive it, but if for any reason that is not the case then please let me know by email within 48 hours of delivery and return it within 14 days, securely packaged and in it’s original condition. I will then provide a full refund. Please note - all return costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, including insurance.

WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT

Giclee prints are fine art prints and stand apart with their extremely high level of quality, longevity and protection from colour fading compared to a standard print. The process uses pigment based, archival quality inks professionally printed onto archival acid free paper.

ALTERNATIVE SIZES

Please contact us to discuss your preferred size and enquire about any cost differential. The majority of prints can be successfully re-sized, with a few exceptions.

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

Limited Edition Giclee’s are produced in a limited number only and, once all have sold, will not be produced again. Limited edition prints are more costly to buy but equally are considered to be more valuable to own; each one is signed and numbered by the artist and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, testifying to its unique quality.

WHAT IS A MOUNTED PRINT?

A mounted print is one that sits in a soft white archival presentation mount which surrounds the image and is ready to frame. A mounting and framing service is available on request..

COMMISIONING A PAINTING.

I offer a limited number of commissions each year, if this is something you might be interested in please get in touch to discuss your ideas without any obligation.
