Discovering Mixed Media - 27th & 28th June 2026
A 2 day Mixed Media workshop where you will explore a range of materials including acrylic, ink, mediums, collage, pastels, graphite and charcoal. Using the landscape as a loose reference, you will also create your own collage papers and use these to develop depth and interest in your paintings.
Mixed Media is all about exploration and experimentation - letting go of perfectionism and allowing yourself to be led by the process of combining and layering different materials.
Experience: Suitable for beginners and more seasoned painters looking for a new direction in their work. Most importantly you will be willing to experiment and remain open-minded to possibilities.
Where: The Art House, Totnes Rd, South Brent, Devon TQ10 9BP. Free on-site parking [space permitting].
Other Details:
10.00 - 4.30pm, with a 1 hour lunch break on both days
Price includes materials & equipment, although you are encouraged to bring your own paints if you have them as this will provide you with more flexibility.
Maximum of 6 participants.
Work and materials can be left in the studio overnight.
