Experience: All (beginners welcome).
Mediums: Acrylics or Water-Mixable Oils [no solvents please!]. Mixed media can be introduced if interest demands.
Genre: the landscape [including seascape] will be used as the main reference although still life can be introduced.
What will be covered: basic skills, foundation techniques, developing a visual language, gaining confidence and painting expressively.
Group size: Max 6 spaces per session to enable 1:1 support and guidance.
Materials: You will need to bring your own materials although there will be some available to use. If you are new to painting I am happy to discuss the best materials to purchase before your first session.
Cost: £140 per 4 week block which can be renewed ongoingly [equates to £35 per session]. Space permitting, a charge of £40 will apply for a drop-in session - please contact me before a class to check availability.
Venue: 360 Gallery, Artframe Solution, Faraday Mill, Cattedown, Plymouth [above Plymouth Auction rooms]. Please note that access is by an internal staircase. Toilet and kitchen facilities are on-site and tea/coffee will be available. Roadside parking is free.
