A structured and informative 1 day workshop in which I will be demonstrating my expressive approach to landscape painting, covering various techniques and processes to focus on creating landscape paintings full of layers, texture and depth. The foundations of painting will be covered, including composition, tone and complimentary colour palettes and mark-making, as well as use of additional materials, personalised support and 1:1 feedback.
Experience: Suitable for painters of all levels, including beginners as well as more seasoned artists looking for a new direction in their work. Most importantly you will be willing to experiment and remain open-minded to possibilities.

Materials
You will be required to provide your preferred paints [oils, water-mixable oils or acrylics] and surfaces. Some additional materials will be available to use. More information and a full materials list will be sent on confirmation of booking. You will also need to bring some reference material in relation to a landscape of your choice, which you could work from e.g. sketchbook or photographs.
